The one pictured is made to mimic the Late 1930s-1940s Decade. Also , prior to the late 1930s TCU also wore a plain Rust Cordovan Helmet in the days when the jersey was the only distinguishing factor. It also wore the Beehive helmet, Flat Top Helmet and Dogear Helmet pre -1920s styles (see these also on our site).
